In real time, it can be difficult to tell whether any given moment with a student is a wining moment or a losing one. Sometimes the kids make it easy to figure out though.
Today in my geometry class we were discussing whether lines that coincide (share all the same points) are parallel. This question has no simple (or absolutely correct) answer. A student raised her hand, “But Mister, you have to tell us the answer or I’ll be thinking about it all night.” Win.
